20th AGM OF DCL HELD
The country’s leading ICT sales and solution provider company Daffodil Computers Ltd approved 18% cash dividend for the year 2016-2017. The 20th Annual General Meeting for the year 2016-2017 was held on 21 December 2017 at DIU 71 Auditorium (4/2, Sobhanbag, Mirpur Road, Dhaka-1207). Ms. Shahana Khan, Chairman of the company presided over the meeting while Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Managing Director of the company placed the agenda. Annual Audited Accounts, Director’s report, 18% cash dividend was approved by the shareholder unanimously. Among others, the Directors, Company Secretary and shareholders were also present in the meeting.

Daffodil Computers Ltd. and Daraz Bangladesh Ltd signed an agreement and as per the agreement, from now and on, DCL Phone will be available in daraz.com.bd.
The signing ceremony took place at the Daraz Bangladesh Ltd. headquarter in Banani, Dhaka and was commenced by Syed Mostahidal Hoq, Managing Director of Daraz BD Ltd. and Mr. Jafar A. Patwary, General Manager of DCL Mobile signed on behalf of the mobile brand. Among others Mr. Fuad Arefin, Head of Commercial & Mr. Abu Saleh Didar, Category Head of Daraz, Mr. Muhammad Toufiqul Islam, Mobile Business Head and Mr. Mohammad Tasnim Farid, MIS & Service Operation Manager –DCL Mobile Phone were present.
The General Manager, Mr. Jafar A. Patwary of DCL mobile said “daraz.com.bd has created a landmark in the e-commerce sector of Bangladesh & we are really optimistic with this contract. Customers will now easily get DCL products at their door steps”. It may be mentioned here that Daraz is the leading e-commerce platform in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar.
